01 Who we are

The Service is operated by Upwizer ("we", "us", "our"), a sole-trader business established in North Macedonia that provides Rise Me App. You can contact us at [email protected].

02 Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account, purchase, or use the Service. By using the Service you confirm that you meet this requirement and that the information you provide to us is accurate and kept up to date.

03 The Service

Rise Me App is a self-development application — available through the web and on mobile and desktop platforms — that delivers communication and personal-growth lessons in text and audio form, along with an onboarding quiz, ratings, and progress tracking such as daily streaks. Content is delivered digitally. We may update, improve, add to, or modify the Service and its content from time to time.

04 Accounts and guest access

You can explore parts of the Service as a guest. To save your progress, subscribe, and access the full Service, you create an account by signing in with Google or Apple. You are responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials secure and for all activity that takes place under your account. Notify us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without your permission.

05 Payments and billing

How your payment is processed depends on where you buy:

• On the web (risemeapp.com): orders are processed by Lemon Squeezy, acting as Merchant of Record. Lemon Squeezy handles the transaction, billing, and applicable taxes, and your payment details are provided to and handled by Lemon Squeezy — not by us. Your receipt and statement will reference Lemon Squeezy, and your purchase is also subject to Lemon Squeezy's buyer terms and privacy policy.
• On Android (Google Play): purchases are processed through Google Play billing and are subject to Google's payments terms.
• On iOS (App Store): purchases are processed through Apple's App Store billing and are subject to Apple's terms.

In every case it is the payment provider — not us — that processes and stores your payment details.

06 Pricing

The current price and billing interval for each plan are shown clearly at checkout before you confirm payment. Applicable taxes are calculated and displayed at checkout by the payment provider for your platform (Lemon Squeezy on the web, or the relevant app store on mobile). Prices may change at any time, but a change will not affect a purchase you have already completed. Any promotional discount applies only as stated in the offer.

07 Subscriptions and cancellation

If your plan is a subscription, it renews automatically at the end of each billing period until you cancel. You cancel where you bought it: web purchases through the Lemon Squeezy customer portal (linked from your receipt) or by contacting us; Android purchases in your Google Play subscription settings; iOS purchases in your Apple ID subscription settings. Cancelling stops future renewals; your access continues until the end of the period you have already paid for. We do not provide refunds for partial billing periods.

08 Refunds and right of withdrawal

Our products are digital content delivered to you immediately, so the following applies:

• Immediate access: By purchasing and starting to access the digital content, you expressly request immediate delivery and acknowledge that, to the extent permitted by law, you lose any statutory right of withdrawal (including the EU/EEA 14-day cooling-off right) once access has begun.
• Our policy: Because the content is made available to you instantly, we do not offer refunds once you have accessed the content. If you believe there is a genuine problem with your purchase, contact us at [email protected] and we will review it.

Any refund, where granted, is handled by the provider you purchased through — Lemon Squeezy for web purchases, or Google Play / the Apple App Store for mobile purchases — and mobile purchases are also subject to that store's own refund rules. Nothing in this section limits mandatory consumer rights that cannot be waived under the law that applies to you.

09 Licence to use the content

When you purchase or access the Service, we grant you a limited, personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive licence to use the content for your own personal, non-commercial learning. You may not share, resell, redistribute, copy, publish, or sublicense the content, or give your login or access details to anyone else.

10 Intellectual property

All lessons, audio, text, graphics, and the Rise Me App name and branding are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by copyright and other laws. No rights are transferred to you except the limited licence described above. Some audio narration in the Service is generated using text-to-speech technology.

11 No guarantee of results

The Service is provided for educational and informational purposes only. While we work to deliver high-quality content, we do not guarantee any specific outcome, result, income, or level of improvement. Your results depend on your own effort, circumstances, and factors outside our control. The Service is not a substitute for professional, medical, psychological, legal, or financial advice.

12 Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• use the Service for any unlawful purpose;
• attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Service or its systems;
• copy, distribute, or reproduce the content beyond your personal licence;
• interfere with or disrupt the Service or other users.

We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms.

13 Termination and account deletion

You may stop using the Service at any time and may delete your account from within the app or by contacting us at [email protected]. Deleting your account removes your account and associated learning data, as described in our Privacy Policy. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms or use the Service unlawfully. Cancelling a subscription does not by itself delete your account.

14 Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, and our total liability to you will not exceed the amount you paid us for the Service in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you have as a consumer that cannot be excluded by law.

15 Privacy

We process personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Payment and customer data are also processed by Lemon Squeezy as described in their privacy policy.

16 Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top shows when they were last revised. If a change is material we will take reasonable steps to let you know. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

17 Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of North Macedonia, without affecting any mandatory consumer-protection rights you have under the law of your country of residence. Disputes will be subject to the competent courts of North Macedonia, where permitted by law.
